Building on the success of our 2026 Winter League, the Norwood Basketball Association is excited to bring back our popular 3v3 program for Winter 2027!

About the Program

Designed for Norwood youth residents (boys and girls in grades 6 through 8), this high-energy league is the ultimate way to tune up and strengthen basketball skills during the winter months.

3v3 basketball is a fast-paced game that emphasizes movement, spacing, and teamwork. With more touches, quicker decisions, and constant action, players naturally develop court awareness, creativity, and essential skills in a fun, competitive environment.

League Structure & Details

Format

Individual registration. Players are assigned to balanced teams each week, ensuring everyone gets significant playing time.

Game Nights

Supervision

Games are monitored and supervised by NBA Coaches and Board Members.

Teams

Teams are mixed and matched differently each week for fresh competition.

Registration & Fees

Cost

$25 per player — includes league play and an official 3v3 reversible pinnie.

Exceptions

The registration fee is waived for travel players.

Policy

Fees are non-refundable once the season begins. Pre-registration is mandatory for participation.

The Norwood Basketball Association (NBA) runs the travel and intramural basketball programs for more than 500 girls and boys from Norwood, grades Pre-K through 8th grade. We also host hundreds of other local teams in our November Jamboree and during the regular December-March season.

Due to rising costs of courts, tournament fees, team apparel, and referee fees, we fundraise to keep registration affordable for all families who wish to participate.
